Silene is a dedicated educator and instructional coach with over 14 years of experience in early childhood education. Currently, Silene serves as a Transformation Coach in Orangeburg County School District, where she supports teacher growth, strengthens instructional practices, and leads impactful professional learning. She’ll be speaking about financial wellness from the perspective of a mid-career educator.

Ginger Abney
2025–26 LifeChanger Spirit Award Winner

Ginger is a kindergarten teacher for Bienville Parish School Board with nine years of experience. She serves as a mentor to new teachers, providing guidance and support in navigating the challenges of the profession. She’ll be speaking about financial wellness from the perspective of an educator who’s early in their career.
