Twenty-five years after the events of September 11, 2001, we remember the lives lost and honor the extraordinary courage of the first responders who ran toward danger to help others. Firefighters, police officers, paramedics and countless others demonstrated a spirit of service and sacrifice that continues to inspire us today.

That commitment to serving others can be seen every day in communities across the country. First responders not only answer the call when emergencies happen, many also go above and beyond their public safety duties by supporting local causes, mentoring neighbors, volunteering their time and finding new ways to strengthen the communities they serve.

Through National Life Group’s Do Good Heroes program, agents have an opportunity to recognize those individuals and departments and help shine a light on the good they are doing beyond the uniform.
