One of the things that sets National Life apart is our commitment to doing good, not just for our customers, but for the communities we serve.
This year’s Do Good Fest® was another incredible example of that commitment in action. Held on July 11 at our Montpelier, Vermont campus, the annual benefit concert raised $200,000 to support youth mental health programs across Vermont.
Proceeds from this year’s event will help expand access to youth mental health resources, including crisis support, counseling services, and family assistance programs. Funding will benefit five Vermont nonprofit organizations selected by the National Life Peace of Mind Fund for their meaningful work supporting young people and their families.
Beyond the fundraising, Do Good Fest brought thousands of people together for a day centered around community, generosity, and service. Festival attendees also had the opportunity to connect with 25 local nonprofit organizations and learn more about the impact they’re making throughout Vermont.
“As National Life agents, you’re part of a company that believes in doing good every day,” said Chair, CEO and President Mehran Assadi. “Do Good Fest is more than a concert. It’s a reflection of who we are and what we stand for. When people come together around a common cause, we can create meaningful change in our communities.”
Since its launch in 2014, Do Good Fest has raised more than $2.5 million for charitable causes while bringing nationally recognized artists, local nonprofits, employees, agents, and community members together in support of organizations making a real difference.
Every time you share the National Life story with clients and prospects, you’re representing a company that’s committed to helping people protect what matters most, both through the solutions we provide and the impact we make in our communities.
